Johan Westin
Technical Committtee Chair

Johan is currently Technical Manager for Online Storage, and Acting Pre-Sales Manager for Exello, where he is responsible for the strategic and technical activities for Exello's Storage Networking products and services throughout Europe.
In August 2005, Johan was elected as Technical Chair for the SNIA Europe Nordics Committee. Johan is also a SNIA trainer, delivering courses matching the SNIA SNCP certification program.
Previous to this, he spent 5 years as Principal Consultant / Senior Architect for Fujitsu-Siemens, responsible for design and architecture of Disaster Recovery solutions at key customers’, and also as technical project manager for several large scale storage projects. Beyond that he has held several technical positions in different companies dealing with storage infrastructures since the 90’s.
Johan has a solid foundation in the Storage Industry covering products from EMC, HDS, HP/Compaq, and IBM and major infrastructure vendors, Johan holds various engineering qualifications and certifications in this area. Johan also holds a Master of Engineering from The Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden (KTH).
