Welcome to the page of the SNIA Europe Nordics Committee. This is the central location to find information about the activities going on in the Nordic region. The Committee was officially announced on 18th July 2005.

The mission of the SNIA Europe Nordics Committee is to ensure that storage networks become efficient complete and trusted solutions across the Nordic IT Community. The SNIA Europe Nordics Committee will accomplish this mission by:

• Becoming the central point of contact for storage networking vendors, the IT industry and IT users within the Nordic region.


• Facilitate education and information for storage networking vendors and the IT community within the Nordic region.


• Be visible by participating as speakers at storage events in the Nordic region.

The Nordic committee has developed deep expertise in various technologies within the storage area. For 2010 we will be focusing in following hot topics.

• Green Storage


• Data Management


• Data protection

End users are very welcome to contact the Nordic committee for further information.
