Flash technology is everywhere; from mobile phones to cameras to a multitude of consumer items, and for good reason. It’s fast, compact, draws little power, and unlike its RAM based cousins, is persistent without requiring battery support. So why has it taken a little while longer to be adopted in the enterprise storage space?
