NCE’s new lab facility is our latest training platform designed to provide our engineers with further knowledge to take to the field, by providing them with the ability to evaluate all supported products in a real-time controlled and monitored environment.

This unique infrastructure exists in it’s entirety because NCE have the experience and technical know-how to create a showpiece of this magnitude. It represents our knowledge and innovation - not only in the Data Storage industry, but the IT industry as a whole.

Comprising of a true heterogeneous environment and conforming to modern day data centre principals, the NCE Training lab covers key operating systems (Windows, Linux, Solaris, AIX), and comprises of (but is by no means limited to) the following technologies:

• Tape: SCSI,
• FC Disk: NAS, SAN, DAS
• Virtualisation: VMware, VTL
• Connectivity: Ethernet, iSCSI, SCSI, FC

Proactive support via an intuitive testing environment.

From within the NCE Data Centre Services division, NCE can now be aware of faults as they occur, and reduce downtime within your organisation.

All Field Service parts are subjected to a vigorous testing regime, to ensure correct firmware levels and operability. In fact, once new hardware is released, NCE even have the ability to integrate the product into a real world scenario - testing the product within our lab facility gives our engineers a greater insight into how the product functions, so we can integrate this product into our product service portfolio.

With the labs DR testing and fault replication capabilities, and with over 1 Petabyte of storage at hand, NCE can now replicate the customer’s issue in real time and work to find the relevant solution within unsurpassed time scales.
