Nordics Committee

The SNIA Europe Nordics Technical Committee (Nordics-TC) is led by Johan Westin (Exello AB), Chair. The technical committee consist of individuals from SNIA Europe Member Companies, who will focus on delivering technology information throughout the Nordics IT Community, based upon customer needs.

The Nordics-TC will assist at industry and partner events to promote the use of networked storage. This will be provided by delivering information or speakers with in depth knowledge in specific Storage Networking technologies.

The Nordics Committee is also represented in the Data Management Initiative by Per Karlsson, Chair. The Data Management Initiative committee works in conjunction with the US Data Management Forum to educate the market about three key areas of data management:

  • Data Protection, Information Lifecycle Management (ILM)

  • Long Term Archive
  • Compliance Storage Initiative (L-TACSI)
